This work studies the current situation of the tourism sector and how to contribute to its development through design.
In the first place, the sector is in a process of evolution towards new ways of conceiving tourism, highlighting the power of technologies to produce a circumstantial change in the way we travel.
On the other hand, design makes available to the destinations methodologies focused on improving User Experience, Customer Experience and, ultimately, Service Design, which can be used by the tourism sector to enhance and take advantage of its possibilities.
This is how Yourway was born: as a collaborative tool for planning and managing the tourism's offer in a unified, flexible and personalized way, putting in value the destination and accompanying the user throughout the travel process with information adapted to his or her specific needs at each moment.
To accomplish it, the project is divided into a first conceptual, research and analysis phase; and a second part focused on the methodological development of the solution.
